Please see this important update from the Ministry of Finance regarding applying for the Homeowner Grant in 2021
During the snow and ice conditions the District of Stewart works extra hard to maintain a safe town for residents and visitors. This includes snow removal and ice control measures as well as resources to assist your family to prepare for emergency situations. The cooperation of citizens is requested to assist us in achieving this goal, particularly in preventing vehicles from interfering with snow clearing operations and by keeping snow cleared from their driveway on their own property.
In 2011 Council approved Snow Removal Policy and in 2019 adopted Snow & Ice Removal Bylaw No. 959, 2019.
