Organizations must complete the Application for Grant in Aid form and submit it to the Municipal Hall by the last working day of December. Mayor and Council will review requests for financial assistance by February 28th of each year during budget deliberations.
December 2015, Policy OPS-008 Landfill Salvaging Program was adopted by Council.
In order to salvage at the municipal landfill, a Salvaging Permit is now required. This can be purchased from the District of Stewart office in person.
Open and complete the applicable form, and email back to clerk@districtofstewart.com for processing.
