Public Notice: Tree Falling / Danger Trees

The District of Stewart has arranged for a Tree Falling Contractor to remove dangerous trees in town. They have been retained to remove or prune trees on public property. They will be in Stewart on October 4, 2021, to complete this work.

While they are in Stewart, the Contractor may be available to remove some trees on private property, subject to his prior commitments. The cost to remove the trees will depend on the complexity of the removal, proximity to buildings, as well as power and utility lines, etcetera, and needs to be discussed with the contractor.

Property owners are asked to contact the contractor directly if you would like to be considered for tree removal.
