Ambulance

BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) is best known for providing expert pre-hospital care and being the first on scene when a medical emergency strikes.

BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics, Emergency Medical Call-takers, Emergency Medical Dispatchers and support staff have an impact that reaches far beyond the incredibly important job of saving lives. Leaders in their communities, they devote countless volunteer service hours to public education initiatives and campaigns, ensuring that British Columbians have the information they need to prevent personal injury and illness and provide vital assistance to others during medical emergencies.

BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) frequently has employment opportunities for on-call, part-time Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs). Applicants are encouraged to contact either the Unit Chief at our local ambulance station or Human Resources Toll Free: 1-877-577-BCAS (1-877-577-2227) for more information on how to enter the exciting world of pre-hospital emergency medical services.
