District of Stewart - Impacts to Wastewater System

UPDATE:
Work on the ruptured Sewer Force Main line is continuing today, January 16th, 2026.
The District is continuing all efforts to complete the repair and requests the community's continued support through limiting wastewater output as much as possible. Cooperation from the community by avoiding/limiting the use of appliances (dishwashers and washing machines) or prolonged running of taps is greatly appreciated, and will assist the crew's efforts in completing the repairs as quickly as possible.
