UPDATE
Remediation work continues today at the areas affected by the rupture of the Sewer Force Main line at Lift Station # 3.
Until the remediation process is complete, residents are urged to stay away from the affected areas.
Please allow Staff and contractors the space to safely complete this necessary work.
AVOID THE AREA SOUTH OF 5TH AVENUE AND EAST OF RAILWAY.

The safety warning issued yesterday, January 17th, regarding the risk to health caused by contaminated water/areas continues to be in effect.
Contaminated water and areas pose a health risk, as exposure can cause serious illness, including gastrointestinal issues, and infection.
Do not touch, swim, or let children or pets play in or near affected water, mud, or sewage-contaminated ground.
As a precautionary measure, water samples were collected on the morning of January 17th, and the test results were received yesterday, January 19th, confirming the integrity of the water distribution system.
